Beyonce’s former Destiny’s Child mate, now British X Fator judge, Kelly Rowland has gone all out and splurged on a £3,200 (about $5,045) bathtub.

The Luxury Baby Bathtub
The bathtub from Kelly Rowland is not the most expensive bathtub in the world. But in the season of cutbacks and austerity measures, it may appear a tad to ostentatious. Rest assured, Beyonce’s little one is set to grow up bathing in a designer porcelain tub that is encrusted with 44,928 crystals.
Created by California-based interior designer Lori Gardner, this bathtub is as far from Corcel N°1’s carbon fiber bathtub as it can get. Far from being imposing (despite the jaw-dropping price tag), the Lori Gardner designed bathtub is cute and colorful, perfect for Beyonce’s baby. Moreover it is not as heavy as one might imagine. It weighs in at a relatively light 3,000 pounds.
Not Just A Baby Bathtub
As for critics of Rowland’s gift who feel it is a waste, because the baby will grow out of it in a matter of months, Gardner has two tricks up her sleeve. She says that the bathtub can later be used to bathe family pets. Don’t have pets? The £3,200 bathtub can also double up as a beer cooler during parties.
So if you thought that a limited edition stroller or a diamond sterling spoon are the ideal buys for a baby shower, you had better think again.
