Get ready to groove with Bowers and Wilkins’ AirPlay

Bowers & Wilkins better known as B&G, the British loudspeaker company has joined hands with Apple to produce AirPlay. It lets you stream music wirelessly from iTunes or handheld devices such as iPhones and iPads to Zeppelin Air. The Zeppelin Air is official now after being teased in Apple’s own promos.

Although the product looks similar to its older blimp brethren, the system has more to it. The speakers have been completely redesigned and feature new 24 bit/ 96KHz capacity DACs. It is compatible with all the latest iPods and iPhones. B&W is all praises for its latest addition and are publicizing it as the best sounding iPod speaker ever.

If you want to sync your iPod or iPhone with iTunes or add more playlists there isn’t any need to undock them. You can do it simply by connecting the speaker to your computer by USB and your iPod will be linked directly to iTunes. The price is yet to be known but going by other Zeppelins we are sure this won’t be cheap either.
