Pinball museum to open in Washington D.C.

There are all kinds of museum out there these days. Now here is one for the Pinball fans. So check this out, there is actually a National Pinball Museum in Washington D.C. David Silverman is the man behind this museum. He is an ardent fan of the Pinball, and has amassed an amazing 900 pinball machines. He lives in Colesville, Maryland and had been keeping his massive collection in his warehouse at the backyard of his house.

Now this collection is going to get a better home at the Shops Mall at Georgetown Park in D.C. Though Silverman tried to start a museum in his home-state, but then he got this proposal in which he was offered two years of rent-free space at this Mall. The officials at the Mall are expecting the addition of this museum over there to attract more visitors.

By paying an entry fee of $13.50, visitors will be able to see the exhibits, the library, theatre, classroom, a restoration room, the gift shop and also a pay-to-play room. This unique museum will see visitors from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The museum will open from September.
