With a fitness consciousness dawning in rapidly, we are not really surprised to spot one health regime armory almost every week, each claiming to be different and better than the rest. The Power Plate is one such training machine. Designed by a Japanese who goes by the name of Kenzo Takada, this ‘revolutionary’ system is expected to be a very efficient training device.
We hear that the Power Plate works on vibrations that help realize new levels of health, fitness and performance. And the latest from Takada tells us that he has redesigned his famous machine making it look ‘appealing’ (though many of you might not agree with looks) with a mix of pink, blue and green flowers against a backdrop red gloss. Apparently, the idea was to brighten up the exercise regimen that most people are either bored or dread to undertake on a regular basis.
The new Power Plate was unveiled in Paris recently. Part of a limited edition, this one sells for $10,900.
