Toto Teams Up With Waza Miyabi For Some Spectacular Seasonal Toilets

The best way to judge a household is to check out the toilet. As underhand as it may sound, most of you would agree that the concept does make sense. And that’s precisely why we are game any time to bring classy new toilets to you that will add a zing to your home decor which none of your guests can miss. We can take the name Toto in the same breath, right! After all, the brand has given us some real innovative toilets already.

And their most recent offering is the brainchild of artist Waza Miyabi, which was also exhibited at the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show 2009. The design is simplistic with patterns inspired from sho-chiku-bai, words that stand for ‘pine-bamboo-plum’ in Japanese.

Surprise! Each toilet is hand painted by a Japanese artist, so you can be assured of owning a unique one of your own. The Miyabi toilets give an artistic expression to the four seasons. The plum tree design with silver branches and lovely flowers symbolize spring. On the other hand, the golden plum and bamboo motif in gold stands for the summer (no wonder, it is priced at $12,000). The remaining three designs come for $10,000 each.
