Mantis Group Introduces Floating Hotel Zambezi Queen on the Chobe River for Game Viewing Experience

Waterways have always provided people with an alternative means of transport. Cruise liners have developed over the years into 5 Star floating hotels. But they have grown so large in size that they can operate in high seas only and need large ports for docking. Inland waterways can accommodate smaller vessels but the travelers have come to expect the same level of comfort and luxury. Mantis Group has come up with an answer and introduced the Zambezi Queen that will sail on the Chobe River in Africa and offer a unique game viewing experience from the comforts of a five star floating hotel.

Zambezi Queen offers 10 Suites and 4 Master Suites, all en-suite with king or twin beds, private balconies and fans for those hot summer afternoons, full length sliding shutters for privacy and protection from the sun, sliding mosquito net doors and all other amenities you would expect from a five star establishment. You could call it a Yacht Hotel that takes you on the Zambezi safari. Mantis Group is committed to provide luxury travel opportunities in Africa. The floating hotel can be accessed by the guests from Kasane in Botswana or Impilila in Namibia.

There was an experiment in Canada and Finland to create floating islands by putting together hundreds of thousands of used plastic bottles. Even in the Far East luxury travel is taking wholeheartedly to waterways. Cambodia luxury travel options include floating hotels on the river. The newer initiatives are more responsible towards the environment. The Zambezi Queen also uses jet propulsion system to reduce damage to the river bed. It uses low emission power system for lighting, refrigerators and other requirements. All hot water requirements are provided by solar panels. Water saving devices has been incorporated in the taps and showers and all used water is stored in holding tanks, so as to prevent discharging directly into the river. But the floating hotel does not in any way compromise on the five star comforts for the guests.
