Cadillac To Lift Wraps Off its Ultra Luxury Car At LA Auto Show

When speaking of luxury cars, the first thing to run across my mind would be sedans with shiny bodies and ultra-comfortable upholstery. General Motors wants to change this perception with the advent of luxury coupe through its luxury vehicle marquee Cadillac.

They have unveiled a luxury car concept size of which is as small as Toyota Yaris subcompact with a big dollop of elite features. Things that accentuate this coupe are its two scissors-type doors, a roomy four-seat interior, backlit Cadillac badges and the brand’s signature vertical head and taillights.

The 2010 Cadillac Urban Luxury Concept will put a milestone in Cadillac’s history for it would their first subcompact vehicle. It will be displayed for viewing at the Los Angeles Auto Show which is scheduled to begin on Friday. The design folks at GM call their creation “micro-exotic” i.e. an extremely small luxury car with exciting performance.

There is no word on pricing and availability yet, but with something new and exhilarating on their shelves, Cadillac is going to trade this at a steep price.
