David Clark rolls out Veloce, Infiniti and Modena series of luxury auto-chairs

When it comes to your comfort, many times you would have wished to bring pieces together from different things and probably create a piece of furniture that has the best of the best elements.  David Clark understood this niche and had earlier rolled out the Ferrari GTB chair, which was his attempt to bring the passenger seat comfort for your drawing room upholstery.  He has done it again with his new series of chairs that includes Veloce, Infiniti and Modena which deliver the style and comfort of different vehicle brands.

Veloce is the first here and this was a customized chair made for the designer himself. It was inspired from Alfa Romeo and the design here combines the old world charm of wood and faux leather along with the modern expose of the aluminum hand rests. The engineering here is impeccable and it was achieved by every component being sketched out and transferred to 3D Autocad design platform. Then came the phase where textures and materials were experimented and the finally product was achieved. The frame alone here would set you back $973 and if coupled with the seat it is for $1137 a pop.

Then we have Modena that is inspired from Bentley’s stupendous designs and comfort. The side panel of the chair is available in two options of natural wood or steel with artificial wooden finish. If you would want to own one, it costs $810 for the frame alone but if you throw in the seat, then it’s just $973.
