Here’s a big reason for cigarette enthusiasts to smile! KT&G announced it would introduce a Lamborghini inspired cigarette called Tonino Lamborghini which is of course inspired by the famous Italian fashion brand. Though cigarette lovers know the risks of smoking related consequences which are more than alcohol, they continue to smoke. KT&G Corp is the leading tobacco manufacturer in South Korea and has obtained the rights officially to launch cigarettes of Lamborghini.
KT&G earlier stood for Korea Tobacco & Ginseng, now it is known as Korea Tomorrow and Ginseng. During 2009, the Korean tobacco industry had a 62% of market share. Korean tobacco industry’s market share declined as incoming foreign brands such as British American Tobacco, Japan Tobacco and Philip Morris International made forays into the Asian nation. Korea Tobacco & Ginseng was owned by the government of South Korea. Now KT&G is in the possession of foreigners who have produced cigarettes like The One, Indigo, Arirang, This Plus, Zest, Esse, and Lo Crux.
To develop a new brand both in the national and international markets KT&G has taken three years. It has exclusive sales rights for these luxury cigarettes globally. It is aiming to market as a global strategic item. The new cigarette is made of high quality materials with international brand value. KT&G has priced the exclusive cigarette at $2.4 (2,700 won). Quitting tobacco is not possible as smokers become more and more dependent on nicotine. They say cigarette smoking with its weird ingredients aren’t very good for your health. However, when it comes to luxury, all that don’t matter anyway dahlin’!
