Traveling with kids is not always easy. Even when you book yourself and your family into the most luxurious accommodations, finding a place that will keep your children happy and entertained is a whole other headache. Most hotels offer great luxury and the best services to keep its adult guests happy. But there are few activities to keep the children busy. And even the playrooms (if there is a playroom at all) tend to be very basic, with little to hold your little tyke’s attention.
Generally, you would not expect a luxury property like the David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem to keep a kid-friendly destination. After all, this luxury hotel hosts political leaders and top international celebrities. As it turns out, however, Jerusalem’s David Citadel Hotel has redesigned its kid’s playroom. It is now a visual delight. More importantly, the kids love it.
The new playroom for kids adds a new dimension to the luxurious accommodations of the David Citadel Hotel. The new kids’ space is the vision of designer Sarit Shani Hay. The playroom occupies a space of 1,076 square feet. Hay has created separate areas to appeal to children of all ages. While the younger children get colorful activity areas, there are cool computer stations and flat screens to draw in the older kids.
Blocks of reds and blues bring liveliness to this luxury playroom. The little children just cannot get enough of the plentiful wooden toys and the cool windmill. The room also includes a lion, which is Jerusalem’s embelm. Also on offer is a cave and a recreation of the Mehane Yehuda, Jerusalem’s outdoor marketplace.
