Savelli Launches a Collection of Diamond Encrusted Smartphones Costing $250,000

Geneva-based jeweler Savelli are known for creating exclusive and stunning watches and jewelry. But they have now launched a range of Savelli smartphones. They have used their craft and expertise to transform the phone from and gadget to a piece of jewelry. The casing of the phones have been crafted out of 18 karat white or rose gold and have been embellished with precious stones including diamonds and emerald. The Swiss jeweler is not trying to compete with other smartphone makers but simply wanted to elevate a phone to the level of haute couture. If you see the phones you will agree that they have succeeded in their endeavor.
Alessandro Savelli, the CEO of the jeweler firm pointed out that phone has become the most important object as it is close to you all the time. You touch it not less than hundred times a day. Savelli has created the exclusive designs with women luxury shoppers in mind. They are the most likely to pick up these ultra expensive phones priced at around $250,000 a unit. The existing customer base of the jeweler is always looking something special and beautiful even if it is an object of everyday use. It is objects like these that add to their persona. And that’s what this range of phone aims to achieve.
