This is the event that separates the men from the boys. Or at least, the influential from the not-so-influential. On the Friday of 15 April 2011, Haute Living magazine will be hosting their release party for the issue release of the annual “Haute 100”. The event is being conducted in association with premier spirit brand Dom Perignon.
For those who have not received the invitation, seeking out the party venue is going to be quite the task. Even the invites that proclaim “8pm: cocktails” and “9pm: seated dinner” have no mention of the venue except a single line, “Secret location to be announced”. Makes you wonder if this isn’t some secret spy movie after all.
The 2011 Haute 100 Miami issue will be the third such offering from Haute Living magazine. This time around, you will find the list divided into several categories: Billionaires, Entertainers, Originators (this includes artists, designers, even chefs), Thinkers (writers, politicians and lawyers come under this category), Entrepreneurs, Power Couples, Philanthropists, and Athletes. If you want to find out about the who’s-who of Miami, this is the event to be at.
The event is set to honor the “Most Influential Individuals in the World’s Most Magical City”. Think of this as another meeting ground for millionaires. Something like the Amsterdam Fair for millionaires, a starting point for several other exclusive millionaires’ clubs.
