Dubai is getting into the habit of creating world records. It was home to the world’s tallest building and the world’s largest shopping mall and now it can boast of the world’s tallest hotel. Guinness Book of World Records has declared that the 72 storied JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is the tallest hotel in the world. The luxury property is owned by the Emirates Group and it has the honor of becoming the first JW Marriott Marquis property outside of North America. The new hotel is the 59th addition to the brands global portfolio and has raised the bar for luxury hotels with its decadence.
