Boost Teamwork With The InteracTable, A Touchscreen Table For Office

The new InteracTable promises to change the way we work, bringing the benefits of touchscreen tables to the office space. Even two can be a crowd in the contemporary office scenario, where each person has their own computer. We are all aware of the pitfalls of having to work on someone else’s computer. Thus, it might not be unfair to suggest that the conventional office environment does not boost teamwork, let alone creativity.

But the InteracTable from Wilkhakhn can change all that. Wilkhakhn’s Andreas Storiko designed this touchscreen table to serve as “a shared working surface for project groups.” The idea was to improve teamwork, boost creativity and encourage even technophobes to get comfortable with modern technology. Products like HP Touchsmart have revolutionized our take on the traditional table or desk. The InteracTable is a direct result of changing technologies.

The InteracTable takes away much of the formality involved in the office scenario. It encourages greater flow of ideas and increased interaction on projects. The aluminum-linoleum table frame is available with optional chrome polished and black painted stands. The display, which covers most of the tabletop, measures 50 inches on the diagonal. The touchscreen display offers a resolution of 1280 x 768, an aspect ratio of 16:9 and 16.7 million color recognition capability. Among other things, this touchscreen table has can be easily linked to a PC via multiple formats. It also has HDTV signal input compatibility.

Personally, I would say that this is a far more functional product than the Pokermate, or its high-end version, the most expensive touchscreen poker table. The InteracTable is far more significant than even the uber-cool touchscreen computing coffee table.
