Collective to Establish Itself as Most Preferred Retailer in Luxury Segment

Madura Garment Lifestyle Retail has launched the Collective which is an international multi brand lifestyle retail concept and aim to be at par with other international retailers like Lane Crawford, Harvey Nichols and Barneys. They would be focusing on consolidating their position in the premium women’s segment with the launch of more and more brands. The launch of Vivienne Westwood and Missoni in India is planned for the next fashion season.

The company has already planned an investment of Rs.40 crores for expansion in order to become the most preferred retailer in the super premium/luxury segment. The brands they are offering at the moment are available internationally in stores like Harvey Nichols, Barneys, Lane Crawford, Harrods and Selfridges. Collective offers the same experience to shoppers in India including a valet service to drop the garments at the customer’s home.

Collective has to compete with markets in Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore and are keeping the price at par or a maximum differential of 10%. The Collective is also offering made- to-measure service from two leading brands Rafelle Caruso from Italy and Richard James. They plan to add Armani Collezioni Su Misura in November this year. They also offer beauty and grooming products and solutions.
