Centennial Cowboy Boots From Tony Lama Cost $50,000

If you are looking for luxurious footwear, there are many brands that you can choose from. One of our bloggers had written about luxurious shoes from Bally Scribe earlier this year. But there are several other great brands producing luxurious men’s shoes. If you did not like anything at Bally Scribes, you could always find something to your liking at Italian brand A. Testoni. But if you are looking to make a grand entrance like the cowboys of yore, check out the new cowboy boots designed by Tony Lama.

If you love making a style statement with what you wear, these Tony Lama boots will make everyone go green with envy. Everyone, that is, except those self-proclaimed haters of bling. For these boots, whether or not they are made for walking, are high on bling. These boots are adorned with generous amounts of gold and diamonds.

4.4 ounces of 14-carat gold went into the making of these one-of-a-kind attention-grabbing cowboy boots. To top it off, these luxury boots come studded with 100 diamonds. Why a hundred diamonds? Simply because 2011 happens to be the 100th anniversary of Tony Lama’s being in the boot making business.

Named the El Rey IV or Kings, these boots are the fourth of a series. The first of these, El Rey I was designed to mark the 50th year of boot making at Tony Lama. This pair was stolen, as was the El Rey II. The El Rey III is still in safe custody though.

As for the $50,000 El Rey IV, they will be on display at Tony Lama’s Laurel store on 13, 14 and 15 May, and at Glen Burnie on 20, 21 and 22 May.
