Children are fascinated with tree house and it also appeals to the adults who want to relive their childhood fantasy. Blue Forest, a design house that creates tree house have come up with an elaborate design positioned as the ultimate man-cave and a perfect hideaway. Named the Quiet Treehouse, it is a free standing wooden cocoon and shaped like a tree. The luxury design company has taken care to use material that makes the tree house eco-friendly. The Quiet Treehouse was unveiled at the Ideal Home exhibition at Earls Court. It naturally occupied the center stage at the exhibition that opened last week.
This unique tree house is not aimed at kids as it carries a significant price tag of half a million pounds. The tree like structure houses a private recording studio and bespoke kitchen and features the latest and best equipment and appliances. The tree house is kitted out with Dyson, Samsung, Yamaha and Smeg appliances. Another unique feature of the tree house is completely sound proof. This tree house is evidently aimed at customers who are adventurous, open minded and rich. They might be a little whacky but it will help them live their childhood fantasy.
Blue Forest designs tree houses for children as well. In fact they had started out with models suited for children but the parents who used to come to them for their children started asking them to create the perfect hideaway for them and the result was the Quiet Treehouse which is the ultimate man cave. Simon Payne, director of Blue Forest and his brother Andy launched the company in 2003. The brothers grew up in Kenya which made them some kind of experts on tree houses. In order to make the Quiet Treehouse soundproof they collaborated with Quiet Mark, a group that acts on behalf of the Noise Abatement Society. They used the Kebony wood in place of tropical wood to build the structure which acts as a soundproofing material.
