Against Nature Atelier and The London Shoemaker Can Make You Look Like A Million Bucks

Jake Mueser’s  Against Nature Atelier in the Lower East Side is the answer to any mans prayers who wants to look like a gentleman. The fabrics used here, be it cotton, linen, worsted wool, cashmere are all of the finest quality. Apart from that, the detailing, the stitching, and the design are all splendid. Now we move on to shoes.  Jeffrey-West Shoes is a boutique of a British cobbler that produces some of the finest pieces for men.

Luckily his shoes are now available in the US. He fuses the traditional with the modern and his range is absolutely mind boggling. It includes monk straps, gibsons, Oxfords, brogues, loafers and moccasins, leather-suede two-tones, pointy Chelsea boots with Flashman spirit, the very interesting Jack the Ripper boots with blood splatters, iron cross accents, protective toe taps, hoof-shaped heels, green crocodile skins among others.

Paul Davies, The London Shoemaker is another master of the art of shoe making. He hand carves the clients feet and then makes wooden moulds of it that contour the clients feet perfectly. These shoes cost around $2,900-3,500. But depending on the material, the cost could go up much higher. But then again, handmade things are usually very expensive.
