Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Swiss watch makers have been in business since 1833. That is over 170 years of serious watch making. The story started in 1833 in an isolated Swiss valley, when Antoine LeCoultre and his watch maker personally tested their creations featuring innovative technical solutions by climbing the highest peaks of the Alps. They wanted to satisfy themselves first that the solution they are providing is actually effective or not.
It is this approach of trying to give the best to the customers that has kept the watch makers amongst the best over such a lond period of time. They have recently unveiled a book which is titled “Extreme Watches for an Extreme Worldâ€. The book is devoted to the extreme watches they have created over the years. All the adventures and the exceptional watches by the company have been brought together in the book.
Jerome Lambert, CEO of the company elaborated on the concept of the book. He also said that this book is dedicated to all adventurers, explorers and other conquerors of the impossible. This book which shows, in words and pictures, all the revolutionary mechanisms created, will leave an enduring mark on the history of watch making. The amazing book has been produced with co-operation of Stephan Ciejka who is the Edito-in-Chief of Revue des Montres.
