Richard Branson is one of the most flamboyant of all the business tycoons out there. Much to the shock of many stiff upper lipped British people, he even dressed in drag and on another occasion he rode hot air balloons. Thus, Branson has been admittedly one of the most interesting characters in the world.
Recently, he wrote his memoire “Losing My Virginity”. David Mirkin who is known for his The Simpsons Movie has not decided to turn Branson’s autobiography into a movie. The question of who would play the role of the tycoon would naturally arise, and when it did arise, David Mirkin thought about British actor Paul Bettany.
However, Richard Branson felt he would be better represented by Robert Pattinson, the star of Twilight series. Meanwhile, Branson himself has begun to dabble with film making and has started a production company called the Virgin produced. He is in the process of making 300-style, which is about the voyages of Christopher Columbus. It is ot clear still though which of the two actors mentioned above is more interested to play the part.
