One such vintage vehicle, a 1958 Pontiac Bonneville Super Deluxe Sport Coupe just made headlines, as this gorgeous luxury coupe went for a staggering $121,000 at an auction event organized by RM Auctions. Widely considered to be one of the most impactful vehicle brands in the 1950s, Pontiac has paid extra attention to the rising demand of V8 engines and hence had powered the Bonneville Super Deluxe Sport Coupe with an OHV V-8 engine. This power plant produced an astounding 300bhp and was tethered to a four-speed Hydra-Matic transmission for high performance figures.
Considered to be one of the most expensive cars sold, the 1958 Pontiac Bonneville Super Deluxe Sport Coupe showcased at the auction event had undergone an extensive restoration process and came with loads of add-on accessories. For starters, the Super Deluxe Sport Coupe featured state of the art power steering, power brakes and even came with power windows, a technology that was considered to be extremely luxurious for its time. Furthermore, Pontiac had also installed a Trans-Portable radio that was introduced in the year 1958 and was designed to be taken out from the car and be used a portable radio for picnics etc. Also present in the  1958 Pontiac Bonneville Super Deluxe Sport Coupe are a rear speaker and rear antenna, along with gorgeous body accessories including rear fender skirts, a tissue dispenser and door edge guards.
However, what strikes the most about this 1958 Pontiac Bonneville Super Deluxe Sport Coupe is its fascinating two-tone green paintjob that is also elegantly mirrored in the car’s interiors. The opulent seats have been upholstered in a vinyl-cloth combination motif, while the same material can also be found on the dashboard.
