2012 Geneva Motor Show: Bugatti Presents The All New Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse

One of the foremost manufacturers of luxury supercars, Bugatti, has now unveiled its next generation supercar in the form of the all new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Bugatti, which currently holds the record for the  world’s fastest production coupe, with the Veyron Super Sport has designed and developed this gorgeous Bugatti supercar in an effort to stretch the envelope of high speed driving with bespoke luxury. Designed as a fascinating convertible, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse is already being hailed as the world’s fastest convertible. The 2012 Geneva Motor Show has already seen a slew of convertible luxury cars, such as the one-off Lamborghini Aventador J, which carries a significantly improved engine and drop-dead gorgeous looks.

The stunning Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse is powered by a monstrous 8.0-liter, quad-turbocharged W16, derived straight from the Veyron Super Sport and produces a mind boggling 1,200 bhp. Bugatti has stated that the new model is the most powerful production roadster of all time and is said to be capable of easily outperforming its predecessor and that too in a convertible format. To ensure maximum performance, Bugatti engineers have modified the Vitesse’s chassis, while focusing on aerodynamics and making use of enlarged turbochargers as well as intercoolers, along with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. With its state of the art engine and hi-tech driving systems, the  Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse is more than capable of achieving a top speed of 410 km/h, while making a sprint of 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.6 seconds.

The all new Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse has been incorporated with quick responding dampeners for increased performance, while the supercar features 20 inch alloy wheels. Bugatti will be offering the new Vitesse with four different paintjobs, while the interiors will be extensively sporting carbon fiber material, especially on the center control panel and the seats, which themselves have been upholstered in dual-tone stitched leather.
