The House Of Mouawad brings to us a very expensive purse called the 1001 Nights Diamond Purse. The value of this jeweled purse is a huge $3.8 million and hence it has recently been named the world’s most expensive clutch in the Guinness World Records.
The diamond purse is bound to be costly not only because it has diamonds but also because it is made frmo 18 karat gold and then studded with 4517 diamonds. These are colored stones with 105 yellow colored ones, 56 pink colored ones, and 4356 colorless ones, and these dazzling diamonds make this purse a breathtaking beauty. With so much stone and gold this clutch weighs 381.92 karats, and has been worked on for hours together (around 8800 hours) by ten artisans under the supervision of designer Robert Mouawad.
The heart shaped purse design was inspired by epic tales of romance and intrigue says Mouawad’s website. The House of Mouawad’s know a bit about extravagance since they had also come up with the $11 million Very Sexy Fantasy Bra in the year 2003 and the 1001 Nights Diamond Purse has made its debut this year. You can see this purse up close and feel it at Doha Jewelry and Watches Exhibition in Qatar since it will be displayed there until Sunday.
