Experience The Spirit of Beauty In Tokyo

John Keats introduced us to the ‘truth’ connection with ‘beauty’. And here we are in the second decade of the 21st century looking at The Spirit of Beauty. This one can be seen at the Moris Art Center Gallery showcasing over 100 years of creative jewelry. Each of these pieces flaunts precious stones by Van Cleef & Arpels. In fact, the exhibition even borrows its name from the clip created by the brand which resembles a fairy.

The display is on in Toyo till the 17th of this month. After that it will proceed on a worldwide tour. And from what we hear, this exhibition is an experience in itself.

The credit for this goes to Patrick Jouin who first thought of this spectacular show spread across the 1,000 meter Moris Arts Center. The exhibitions follows four themes – The Spirit of Nature, The Spirit of Elegance, The Spirit of Adventure and Incarnations. In total there are 250 pieces on display including jewels, timepieces, fashion accessories and objets d’art. The entry fee for the exhibition is set at 1,200 yen for adults, 1,000 yen for students and 500 yen for children 4 and older. So, make good use of your free time.
