“Oh my starry eyed surprise!†This is some real good info for those who are astronomy enthusiasts. The excessive pollution in the air has become a bane for those who like to look at the stars with their telescopes. There is hardly any place where the sky can be viewed clearly. This is a specially big problem in the United States. But I have good news for you. The Cedar Breaks National Monument comes as the answer to your prayers.
This place is situated in Utah and by virtue of being 10,000 feet above sea level, is pretty pollution free. The place has a perfectly dark and clear sky above, which is the best for view on summer nights. So bring along your friends and throw a Starry party. You can bring your own telescope, but a better idea would be to head over to the Point Supreme Overlook and admire the beautiful sky and its twinkling stars with their super powerful telescope.
The park’s volunteer staff will also be happy to answer your queries. The dates for their Starry Party are July 8, 10, 12, August 7, 9, 11, and September 6, 8, 10. What is even better is that it is completely free of charge! Yey!
