In the ongoing auction season, creation by Pablo Picasso invited eyeballs and huge sales. Want numbers? Three of the picasso’s paintings viz. “Femme accroupie au costume turc (Jacqueline)”, “Tete de femme (Dora Maar)” and “La Lampe” were estimated to fetch $90 mn at November auction scheduled in Christies’s and Sotheby’s. But today the news is an art-piece of Pablo Picasso by artist Maurizio Cattelan with a sale value of $4, 10,000 – $6, 10,000 at an ongoing Christie’s auction in London.
