HiQ Trimaran is on Sale

Sail racing seems to be still struggling to get recognized as a sport all over the world. Not so many people are keen on taking up the sports nor do they pay enough heed to it per se. The HiQ trimaran, which won the 2007 Round Gotland Race and she also managed to gain speed records in the same year for Helskini, Tallin and Round Tjrn Race (beating the record with more than 40 minutes) is up for sale on Jameslist.

Trimarans are rather nifty and they have been there for as long as over 4000 years in one shape or form. Due to its unique designs, it is almost impossible for trimarans to get capsized. The HiQ trimaran stands 60ft and it boasts of having speeded up to 43 knots.

When Nylof was asked about the Swedish sail racing in an interview conducted in the year 2007, he is believed to have said that the racing in Sweden is excellent but he feels that the Swedish are a tad too humble. Well, it’s about time that people paid the due recognition to this sport.
