An established name in the realm of Contemporary Art sales, Christie auction has been beating the record sales. Amongst the exhibited pieces at Christie’s, the 2000 artpiece “Fivold Eye” by Olafur Eliasson in London is estimated to fetch $190,000-$240,000.
Jeff Koons’s blue diamond sculpture is the star lot of the Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening on 13 November and is expected to generate $12mn.
French artist Jean-Michel Basquiet’s creation “The Thinker” is anticipated to fetch $4.1mn-$5mn as a part of post-war and contemporary art sale scheduled for 16 October.
