Seemingly a bouncy castle, these air-filled bars are offered on rent to celebrate social gatherings or just to flaunt your lifestyle. The product of such pubs is a part of business run by an enterprising couple based in Skye.
Paul and Diane Browning shifted to Portree four years back and today their firm Amber Iris is being honored as the limited UK distributors of inflatable pubs. The pubs are designed in four varieties viz. Firkin, Kilderkin, Barrel and the Hogshead (all christened after beer containers) and are priced between £4379 and £16,500.
They meet the similar standard as that of bouncy castles and are quite durable. It is multi functional as can be used as a coaching inn, a highland lodge and even a wine bar. Whilst the domestic distribution of inflatable pubs is running actively, their global reach is what the duo is looking at. And why not? After all, they deserve a global presence.
Constructed using air blowers and metal stanchions, it takes only two-hours to construct a single pub. The giant pub called the Hogshead can house almost 50 people. This is an ordinary size of a stone-built pub measuring 50 feet X 25 feet, demands four people to unfold it. The pubs feature a pan-tiled roof effect with chimney pots. Enter inside the pub and you would be welcomed with a pretentious fireplace and stonewall effect. unfortunately for faggers, the puffs are banned and likewise other pubs, there is no dearth of hot air.
