White Desert Offers the Ultimate Adventure in the Interiors of Antarctica

Have you already been to all the remote and exotic destinations and are looking for a destination that could excite you? British Polar adventurer, Patrick Woodhead has the answer for you. White Desert in Antarctica promises the ultimate adventure, the Emperor Penguins and Mountains trip, a ten-day expedition that takes you on a discovery of the seventh continent. White desert is a member of the exclusive Mantis Group and organizes this expedition at the cost of $58,374 per person.

The group will be restricted to only 12 persons. The group will take off in a private jet from Cape Town, South Africa and fly south for five and a half hours to land on the specially-designed ice runway in the interior of the Arctic continent. The 12 guests will be looked after by five professional guides through the trip. The guests are transferred in specially modified 4x4s to Whichaway Camp which is perched on 200 feet ice cliff.

Whichaway Camp offers five spacious tent accommodations, each outfitted with comfortable beds, plush fur rugs, hot water bottles and heating stoves. The main living space, which includes a dining room, library, kitchen and communications area, comprises two dome tents. The Camp is exclusively powered by solar energy and operates by strict ecological guidelines.
