Here is yet another reason why luxury travel seekers should be envied. High-end tourists who decide to spend their vacation at any of three specific Maldives luxury hotels get to experience the five-star treatment even before they reach the hotels. The three hotels in question are the Hilton Maldives/Iru Fushi Resort & Spa, the Beach House Maldives A Waldorf Astoria Resort and the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island.
It works like this. As you disembark from your plane to the Maldives International Airport, and are waiting for the seaplane to carry you to your island paradise, you get to relax at the VIP seaplane lounge. And part of this luxurious airport lounge package is a complimentary shoulder massage – just the thing the doctor ordered after a long flight. If that is not enough for you, just pick something else out of the massage and body scrub menu for a fee.
But this is not all. If you are still trying to complete another impossible deadline, the airport lounge includes computer stations and Wi-Fi connectivity. If not, you could take a long relaxing shower, use the changing rooms and toilets and prepare for dishes cooked by a resident chef. You can sit either indoors or outdoors in oversized sofas that promise indulgence. Happen to be travelling with restless kids? Just set them free in the playroom with a ball pit.
There is a shared lounge for guests of Beach House Maldives and Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. A separate lounge is set aside for guests of the Hilton Maldives. From 7am to 5pm the lounge is free. However, from 5pm to 11pm, the fees are $80 per adult and $40 per child. This covers use of lounge facilities, a buffet dinner and drinks.
