U-Boat Worx Announces The Launch Of New Line Of Exploration Submersibles

One of the most well known names in the field of luxury submarines, U-Boat Worx, has now announced the launch of all new series of exploration submersibles in the form of C-Explorers. The Dutch luxury submarine manufacturer has given the all new C-Explorers, the same of technology as given to its previous C-Quester models, that proved to be highly successful. The all new C-Explorers are capable to making sustained dives up to a depth of 100 to 1,000m (328 to 3,280-feet) and has been designed and developed to provide a helping hand to scientists, research organizations, luxury superyacht owners, aquatic tourism ventures and private explorers with one to six passengers worth of capacity.

The all new C-Explorers series of exploration submersibles from U-Boat Worx has been given a catamaran-style design concept along with a acrylic transparent pressure hull, that lets the occupants get a clear view of their underwater surroundings. The C-Explorer 1 is powered by a 10 kWh lithium-ion battery, and the other models in this range that include C-Explorer 2,4 & 5 are powered by a 40 kWh lithium-ion battery and can accommodate that many number of occupants as per the model designation. U-Boat Worx is currently working on a C-Explorer 2, that would be able to dive to the depths of 656 feet and is said to be showcased at the Monaco Yacht Show in the month of September this year. The all C-Explorer ranger of exploration submersibles will come will come with a price tag of $358,377 for a one seat model and would rise up to $1.07 million for a five seat variant.
