People think of the luxe life they could live or expensive property they can buy when searching for a motivation to become rich. When the coveted private family compounds in Hamptons for listed for sale on Sotheby’s International Realty, my convictions on lust for money was proved correct. The Wainscoot Horse compound boasts of a sprawling ground area of 18.4 acre with a whooping price tag of $72 million.
The estate has 4 parcels, namely three homes, multiple barns and a vacant plot, and the interesting part here is that architectural layout has been the same for almost three centuries. The 2.7 acre area is occupied with a five-bedroom house with a pool and 432 feet of frontage on Wainscott Pond with views of the ocean. On another hand, there the 11.7 acre parcel which boasts of a ancient house built in 1600 complete with a working horse farm. Several barn buildings, paddocks and 200 feet of pond frontage and other ocean views make this property space sumptuous.
The folks at Sotheby add a word of appreciation to fetch the right owner for this property. They say that this Hampton’s is first of its kind owing to the privacy, good tree patch and its relation to beaches.
