If you look at the evolution of mankind you will realize that all the ancient civilizations developed at the banks of rivers or waterways. The coastal or inland waterway cultures all had one thing in common and that is the mono hull or outrigger sailing small craft. Crusoe Craft & Marine has drawn inspiration from the traditional outrigger and developed the lightweight, modular and eco-friendly 18-foot Crusoe Trimaran.
It is an eco friendly, modular 18 foot Crusoe Trimaran. The concept has been developed by Guy Joubert. Its modular design and folding capability allows the owner to use it for diverse purposes. Though it has basically been designed and developed as an exploration craft, hence there are 21 separate stowage compartments across her deck and pontoon areas when in full touring mode. It also doubles as a mobile equipment locker and is ideal for short or extended getaways.
It is an ideal craft for sailors, fishermen, divers, surfers, kiteboarders and photographers. It uses a 9.9HP 4-stroke Yamaha outboard motor that lets it outrun a wave when lurching through surf. The Crusoe is offered with a range of trailers, which are custom designed to suit the owner’s liking and requirements.
