Style Blogger Yvan Rodic Release Video For Armani Eyewear Campaign

Sometime ago I had written about Giorgio Armani’s new street style project for Armani eyewear. It worked something like this. Armani hired four young and popular photographers and style bloggers to photograph regular people (as opposed to professional models) wearing Armani’s new collection of eyewear.

The unique street style project was entitled “Frames of your Life”, and it was another indication that high fashion labels are now looking beyond the usual traditional modes of adventising and promotion. Among the photographer-bloggers that Armani has hired, was Yvan Rodic – the popular street style blogger known for his site, Face Hunter. Well, the Face Hunter Rodic certainly had to go hunting for regular faces from the streets that would be willing to wear the Armani glasses.

Rodic captured  numerous regular folk donning Armani’s new retro grandfather style glasses. And now, he has compiled and released a new video as part of this unique Armani eyewear campaign.

The Heritage Frames line of eyewear by Armani was released last month. The fashion house had earlier hired Rodic’s colleague Tommy Ton to shoot for the print ads of the Frames of your Life street style campaign. The Frames of your Life project captured “real people” from the streets of various fashion capitals of the world including Paris, London, Berlin and Milan in Europe, New York and Los Angeles in the United States, and Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai in Asia.

In the recent past, other luxury brands have turned to bloggers to shoot their promotional campaigns. Moschino and Petit Bateau roped in Garance Dore while Kiehl’s hired Scott Schuman.
