TT Weights Audio Launches a Classy and Heavy Turntable

I cannot explain why, but suddenly good old turntables have become fashionable. I think the trigger was the centenary celebration of Denon which saw the launch of some classy turntables. The positive response they got from the audiophiles have motivated others to come up with classier models as it is the older generation which is fascinated by a turntable and they aren’t very price sensitive if they like a thing.

TT Weights Audio, the Canada based company has very recently brought out the “Angel of Music, Christine” Reference series turntable. It is definitely one of their best offerings so far with a classical mechanical design. They have created the turntable in house right from design to production. They have used a Super Torque Servo DC Aircraft Grade drive system. Even the material used to make the turntable is top class. The entire turntable is made out of brass, copper and carbon fiber platter.

The new thing in the device is the Super TORQ motors for special rotary motion which has been patented by TT Weights Audio. The turntable is really well crafted and will appeal to any audiophile. The turntable weighs more than most men. At 180 lbs it is perhaps the heaviest in its category and that’s why it is delivered in two parts. The price is also rather heavy at $57,500.
