Sony WX1 And TX1: Better Than The Rest?

Sony cameras may not be what most professional and those obsessed with photography reach over for, but the company is known for its attempts at making better products for the average non-professional photography-loving individuals.

The new models of Sony, WX1 and TX1, with back-illuminated sensors may not be as stylish as its predecessors, but it promises better photography than you can get with a little camera like this. The cameras feature their innovative new technology, Exmor R sensor, which Sony claims provides a better performance with its low-light feature. The WX1 (in black) includes a 10.2 megapixel lens, 2.7” LCD screen, 10FPS burst capability and built-in panorama. Additionally, the 720p mpeg4 recording should keep everyone quite happy till the next best deal comes along in cameras. The TX1 (in blue) has the same features and looks a tad more stylish but has a 3” LCD touchscreen with optical image stabilisation instead.

The Sony TX1 costs $380 and if you are looking for a digital camera that could possibly fall slightly more within your budget then the Sony WX1 at $350 may be the camera for you.
