The fruition of Sanyo Xacti HDTV tapeless camcorders compensates from intellectual design and appeal with the DMX-HD800, whose manufacturer believes it seizes a “huge leap in image quality” over its precursor that got unveiled last October. You may find it as an exaggeration at our end but being fans of Sanyo’s Xacti 720p camcorders, we can’t help adoring its quality-performance and expedient flash memory-based HDTV execution for a realistic price. The featured above model sports 5x zoom, 8-megapixel imager, face tracking plus a 2.7-inch LCD view screen. Planned to be shipped in Japan on 22 August, it can be seen as a budgeted deal for $468.
Point is it would bring a revolution in the mindset and performance of all random camera companies that believe that an HD camcorder should cost twofold and will be constrained to pursue suit.
