During a fine jewelry auction in Sydney, a gold box was taken away at the highest bid of $234,000. This unique gold box was designed by Leo Steiner, a renowned estate jewelry dealer who was a trader in Sydney from 1960-80’s. Steiner has earned enough recognition for Russian and Continental gold and silver masterpieces. Since 1970, this box was with its current owner. It was acquired by her husband from Steiner.
