The world of cars was quite kicked at the recently held Car of the Year awards in Kuwait. This event, we are told, is an initiative run by Kuwait’s auto magazine RPM. And fro what we know, these are no doubt held very special by all the participants for all the winners are chosen directly by the public. So what the organisers did was simply collect and analyse the date from some over 250,000 (boy o boy) respondents which eventually led to the winner in each category.
So quite naturally, we were very keen on the luxury category. And the car that zoomed away with the big prize was none other than our hot favorite Rolls Royce Phantom. All the RRP enthusiasts will agree when we say that this dream machine is totally a class apart.
Abbas Ashmar, Rolls Royce brand manager at Ali Alghanim & Sons Automotive, accepted the award. He was reportedly heard saying that Phantom will continue to lead the super luxury segment in cars. And we couldn’t have agreed more. Might we add, the Best Luxury Car of the Year award is the second accolade Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has got this month. Some time back their Ghost received the red dot for the very highest level of design.
