The Routes du Bonheur which translates as Road to Happiness, had started originally as an informal association of eight establishments who shared the common passion for hospitality and excellent cuisine. The guests were encouraged to visit and experience all the eight establishments. Over the years the itineraries expended well beyond the boundaries of France and covered all five continents of the world. Many high end properties have become part of the program. The Maisons de Bricourt offers sweeping views of the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. There is Terme Manzi Hotel & Spa which is built around a famous thermal hot spring on the island of Ischia in Italy. The property boasts of a Michelin-starred restaurant, the II Mosaico restaurant. The French Laundry is also part of the association. With three Micheline stars, the gastronomic establishment is considered the gold standard of American dining.
