The pretty baby performs just great at home, but take her out and she falls flat on all functions. I might as well throw her out and get me a new one. Incidentally, I’m talking about getting me a new laptop that does as well on field as it does in the office.
Panasonic’s Toughbook is intended to score on all the right extremes. Rugged but beautiful, powerful yet light enough, Toughbook is a laptop that will impress you on all counts. Available in two models, Toughbook 52 and Toughbook 74, the laptops have 13.3†touchscreen LCD displays with spill-resistant keyboards and touchpad. The laptops are also built into magnesium alloy cases with easy to carry handles. Other specifications of the Toughbook include DVD Multi Drive and Wi-Fi Draft-N, mobile broadband and are powered by Intel Core 2 Duo Processors.
The only difference between the Toughbook 52 and Toughbook 74 appears to be the inclusion of fingerprint reader in the Touchbook 52. Prices for the Toughbook start from $1,700, with the touchscreen option taking the rate to $2,550.
