Nuance-Watson have added the new Givenchy pour femme fragrance at the Changi Airport. Being distributed by Shiseido, the Serge Lutens perfume will be seen at the Nuance-Watson’s Perfumes & Cosmetics stores in the Southeast Asian travel retail markets. Changi already has luxury perfume brands like Annick Goutal, Amouage, Rancé and Bond No. 9. With this addition, Nuance-Watson hopes to cross the US$2 million sales by the end of 2011.
Shiseido Travel Retail Asia Pacific Regional Director Phillipe Lesne said: “We are very excited to launch Serge Lutens with Nuance-Watson (Singapore), which will offer travellers an opportunity to find this refined, French luxury perfume brand at Changi Airport. Each fragrance is inspired by the traditional perfume’s art, using rare and authentic essences. We are confident Serge Lutens will contribute successfully to the solid growth of the luxury fragrance segment developed by Nuance-Watson (Singapore).â€
Nuance-Watson (Singapore) Managing Director Ken Tse added that, “Given the dynamic consumer mix at Changi Airport, we strongly believe there is a need to cater to diverse consumers’ demand. We started to develop a collection of top-end scents two years ago that would capitalise on the growing Chinese demand for expensive and rare exquisite gifts. Today, luxury fragrance is a sprawling segment with a steady turnover and solid growth in our stores.â€
