Soon after the rights to her name changed hands for a multimillion dollar deal the Southport artist Clare White has created a dazzling mirrored aluminum recreation of the original blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe, which will help benefit The Marina Dalglish Appeal. It is a stunning creation in Swarovski crystal.
This art work is the first in a series of fifty by the artist. This particular piece has been donated to the Marina Dalglish Appeal , and will be auctioned off at the upcoming Knowsley Hall ball. The artist is very happy for the fact that she has been able to give original blonde a modern twist. The future reproductions of the “Marilyn On Mirror†will sell for £3,000($4,750).
Clare Wright has several celebrity clients including boxer Amir Khan and Apprentice star Karen Brady. She is very excited about how the ‘Marilyn on Mirror’ has shaped. The recreations to follow will also have her trademark water and splash effect. Each recreation will be embellished by £500 worth of Swarovski crystals and will be no less than the original creation.
