Macallan Is Back With New 1824 Scotch Collection

Macallan enjoys an unparallel popularity with those who appreciate sipping on high quality Scotch. And the buzz is that the famous distillery is all set to launch a new family of single malts. Called the Macallan 1824 Collection (after the founding year of the company), this one comprises of four distinct tastes and expression. Mind you, each liquor has been created by the Master Whiskey Makers and carry within them an infusion of gorgeous flavors and aromas that we associate with the brand.

The four bottles carry the names – Select Oak, Whiskey Maker’s Edition, Estate Ramsay and Master Blender Emeritus. The last one has been dedicated to the parent company, The Edrington Group and to Bob Dalgarno.

For you information, the Macallan Whiskey Maker has some 50 years of experience to boast of. And the new Macallan 1824 Limited Release is the most exotic for it’s bottled at 48% after being drawn from sherry seasoned Spanish oak casks when at the peak of maturity. The price tag is $2K. The Collection is up for sale at Travel Retail outlets in the Americas and Europe and has just been launched in Asia at Singapore airport.
