People were pretty intrigued by the LG and Prada offspring, the Prada 3.0 smartphone. Since October, we got glimpses of its photos, its specifications but never a date for when the phone would actually be launched. The D Day finally arrived this December 14 when they unveiled their uber chic designer smartphone in London. Right now the phone has simply been introduced and the actual sale is slated to start from January onwards in the coming year.
Thanks to all the info snippets on the internet, we pretty much knew what to expect from the phone. But for those of you who have just tuned in, here are the main features. It runs on Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread (though it will probably be upgraded to Google’s newest Operating System, Ice Cream Sandwich) along with PRADA UI and features a 1GHz dual-core processor. The display is a 4.3 inch wide NOVA Plus LG TFT-LCD that boasts of a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 and has a brightness of 800 nits. It has a 8MP camera plus 1080p video recording capabilities at 30 fps.
Gives you enough storage space with a 8GB internal memory along with microSD card support. For internet and data transfer it has WLAN 802.11 abgn, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC and HSPA+ up to 21Mbps. The 1540mAh battery is also pretty decent. The specs are good for a smartphone but the pricing quite obviously will burn a hole in your pocket. The designer label junkies however would find this one to be a keeper. Treat yourself this Holiday.
