Lamborghini has come up with an alluring design concept. Inspired by an insect, the carbon-fiber-bodied Lamborghini Insecta is a cool machine that will blow you away. A creation of the Romaninan designer Iulian Bumbu, who is a graduate of the Alfa-Romeo sponsored Transportation Design Master Course at Milan, this car is a dedication to the classy world of insects.
AS bizarre as it may sound, the resemblance to a beetle actually lends a unique attraction to the Lamborghini Insecta. It in fact, flaunts armored casings like the ones that protect beetles. Similar in dimension to Lamborghini Gallardo, this new model is lower and wider with a slightly longer wheelbase.
The power comes from the same 5.0 liter V10 engine and drive train found in the Gallardo. However, we must admit that the use of carbon fiber in design attachments have made the Insecta lighter and faster. Oh, did we forget to tell you that there is a glass engine cover that blends pretty well with the glass roof that offers a clear view of the engine further adding to the car’s attraction.
