London is the kind of city that you just can’t get tired of. It might just be the only city in the world that has remained important for more than 2000 years. It was the capital of half of the world just a century ago, and it still is the world’s most important city nonetheless.
Thus, when its highest building “Heron Tower” was opened, there was a grand celebration. Heron International, Gerald Ronson and also his counterpart from Skanska admired the views of London from the 202 meter summit. The building would open in 2011 and it is being touted as the right time for it to open. However, it would soon be overtaken by Pinnacle, after a period of two years.
One must wait and watch how the skyline of London would change in the coming years. It could just be one of those fringe attractions that make people want to visit the city no matter who they are, where they come from, what they do in life and how old they really are. Thus, London is one of the most versatile cities in the world and that can be seen in its skyline too from Heron Tower.
