Recently, we saw Anonimo watches withdrawing from the American markets. The big pull out happened because they could not successfully establish themselves as a selling luxury brand. But we think that this Italian brand will be back pretty soon. And you can always get them from outide the U.S. Like the new model which is called D-Date II.
This one is a follow up version to the original D-Date, which really stands for day/date display on the watch. What Anonimo has does is simply modified the Swiss ETA 2834-2 automatic movement complete with a disc that shows you the full name (and not any abbreviation) of the day it is today. Even the date and day of the week windows are oriented vertically vis-a-vis the watch dial, which in turn is black and pretty easy to read the hour markers with.
The watch case is 43 mm wide and has an Ox-Pro black coated steel. The finishing is an impressive sandblasted one. A rose gold tones bezel that has been both polished and brushed complements the while affair. It has water resistance up to 500 meters thanks to the helium escape valve.
