If you are a fan then you have seen that wine is what someone or the other is drinking on almost every episode. When you think about it, all episodes feature someone drinking a glass or two of wine. I think so! So, HBO releasing bottles of wines to honor the show is just a fitting tribute.

Game of Thrones fans will have something to look forward to before the start of the series. HBO in partnership with Vintage Wine Estates, a Santa Rosa winery is going to release bottles of wines dubbed as the Seven Kingdoms Wines, and the initial release will include a red blend, a chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. The details on the vintage, provenance, vineyards and pretty much about the wines are still scant. But, it was confirmed with a company representative that all bottles of wines have the makings to be a collectible. That’s right! They decked the bottles with signs of the major families from lions to dragons to stags.

According to Jeff Peters, director of licensing and retail for HBO, he says “Given the prominent role of wine on ‘Game of Thrones’ and our previous success in the beverage category, an officially licensed wine for the show feels like a natural extension for our fans.” ‘Game of Thrones’ wines most definitely will add to the fan experience as the battle for the Iron Throne heats up heading into the final seasons.” And he was right, just as Tyrion says ““Everything’s better with some wine in the belly.” So, get a bottle of GOT-themed wines to keep you company while waiting for the season 7 to airs.

The bottle of wines will be available nationwide in 750-millimeter bottles in spring 2017. The price of a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon is $39.99, the Chardonnay and red blend priced at $19.99.
